Crazy Gas Prices!?

I am getting my lisence and I don't have a job! I own a Dakota Dodge Sports truck and Im barely going to drive(16) and I dunno what to do to help me. ARe there tips to conserve gas, i heard that if you put the nozzle in deeper for your cars hole that the excess gas from dripping can be very helpful. I need help! Im a teen that is starting to get grown up! Help!
