How to remove wavy underlines in Microsoft Word ?

There is an option in preferences to remove the lines (tools--> options--> spelling and grammar, un-check appropriate boxes), however this will also make them disappear for all doents. If you click on print preview they will go away too, but you will not be able to edit the text.
