Does this guy like me?!?

Hey there,i like one of my best-guy-friends,he doesn't know it,but my other friend does.The problem is that he likes my friend,and she likes him back,but their not dating.He calls her really pretty,constantly tells her he likes her,compliments her,is always on her side for EVERYTHING,and snuggles and holds her hand (She does all of this too him,the snuggling and stuff) Im too shy to do that,but my friend told me that he said im a good friend,funny,pretty,and fun to hang out with.He tells me he would hug me more often but he says i always seem to not want it (Which i do) So,yesterday we went ice skating and,she held his hand while i just kinda stood there,and they hugged and stood close to each other,but,he also hugged me,and while in the rink,he was sliding REALLY close to me,if i didn't stop him,we would have kissed.And we also went to the ice skating rink with a different friend,and he held my hand,for a longer period of time i suppose.We talk almost every night,and even though he has a text limit,we text almost everyday.We once pulled an All nighter over the phone,and with my friend that he likes,his longest conversation with her was 40 minutes.He repeatedly tells me that hes liking her more and more and that he wants to kiss her,and today he told me that his parents are taking his phone away for the rest of this month,and he didnt tell ''the friend''.So is it a strong friendship,or does he like me back?
