Isn't some telethon for Haiti aid airing soon? Is everyone in for the free ride on magic carpet.?

If the IRS says a donation before Feb. '10 is an '09 deduction and allowed, then it is allowed. If it is not allowed, the IRS won't accept it. It is not fraud if it is allowed and it is legal. Fraud would be saying "I donated to the Red Cross for the Earthquake in Haiti in December 2009" Couldn't happen unless you are psychic and saw the quake coming after New Years.
