High school freshman help!?

Usually the teacher will set up a game or something fun like a group activity which will require you to work as a team getting you to know your fellow clmates. If this doesn't work for you, you can sit in the library during your lunch period and do homework which is what I would always do because I was also very shy and had few friends.
